Pet Wash Soap

Sooths and Moisturises

The Neem tree has played an important role in Ayurvedic medicine for over 4,000 years.

Neem oil is a very popular ingredient in hair and skin care products.

Our soap is made from all natural ingredients and includes Neem Oil, Coconut Oil and Palm Oil.

Earliest Sanskrit medical writings refer to the benefits of Neem fruit, seeds, oil, leaves, roots and bark.  Today the Neem tree is looked upon as one of the major trees that could be used to reforest the Earth as it gives incredible value to the people that grow it.

If you wondered why the people from India often have such beautiful and healthy skin, then take a look at the extraordinary Neem tree, Azadirachta Indica.  It is a tropical evergreen, native to India and Burma.  It can grow to 50 feet tall, tolerating drought and poor soils.  The tree can live up to 200 years, bearing fruit at 3 – 5 years of age.  It is very hardy and impervious to most pests.  In India it is known as the ‘village pharmacy’.  All parts of the plant have been used for at least 4,000 years in the treatment of a wide range of conditions.  Neem plays an important role in Ayurvedic medicine.

Neem leaves are strewn on the floor of temples at traditional Indian weddings, to purify and bless the area and the couple.  The air is fanned with Neem branches during the ceremony.   The bark is also burned to make a red ash for religious decoration of the body.  Every part of this sacred Neem tree is used in some form on a daily basis. The twigs are used as a toothbrush.  The oil is used for soap and the leaves for medicine.

Mahatma Gandhi was a strong supporter of Neem and encouraged scientific research into its properties.  He liked sitting under a Neem tree and would eat Neem leaf chutney was part of his daily diet.

I LOVE this product!! We discovered it about 12 years ago when our dogs were covered in fleas and ticks. Just lathering our poor dog in the soap provided a bizarre spectacle of seeing the hideous, biting critters rise from the surface of the dog’s skin, through the foamy lather, dead as door nails. Have recommended it to other friends around Australia and they love it as well.

Great soap. Economical and leaves our dogs smelling lovely for a long time and with shiny coats.

I first started using this for a bordercollie with itchy heat spots on her back – it worked a treat to calm that down and certainly seemed to help as a flea repellant… was so pleased when i found thos online as nowadays a big white dog has just joined the family and i have to say she went from grey to blinding white again lol! Using the cake of soap certainly made bathtime easier than the liquip shampoo. 🙂

I have a Red Kelpie that suffers from a dandruff type of condition and also the Canine version of Ezcema. He would bite himself till he bled, it itched him that much.
I have tried the expensive shampoos from the vet with no results.
A friend of mine gave me a box of this Neem Oil Soap for Dogs to try as his Red Cattle dog suffered with the dandruff condition as well.
So after the first wash with the Neem Oil Soap for my dog I noticed the dandruff disappear. It made his fur really soft and cuddly but then I noticed after a few months of regular washing with this soap that he was not biting himself anymore and I looked over his body and could not find any indication of it.
He was a much happier dog.
When I finished the soap I could not find it anywhere locally and I asked the Local Health Shop if they could get it in for me, they did, but it was not the same brand and it did not work as well as my dog reverted to biting himself again.
So very pleased I found this company and now I know I can get the soap when I need it again.
